Bowness is a community located in the northwest quadrant of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Established in 1896, it was officially incorporated as a village on February 14, 1948, and later as a town on November 5, 1951. It was eventually amalgamated into the City of Calgary on August 15, 1964.
